The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025

The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 promotes e-sports and online social games while completely prohibiting online money games, their advertisement, and related fund transfers. It establishes an Authority to classify and register online games, and prescribes penalties including up to 3 years' imprisonment or a Rs.1 crore fine.
